Associative life

The associative life is particularly diverse at Centrale Lille, proving the dynamism of its members. It also enhances the students' learning through the experience of taking responsibility.

 

The major associations

 Ingénieurs sans frontiers : the group Engineers without borders carries out technical projects to aid development in third-world countries as an awareness campaign for students.
 Oraux'Scope : publishes a practical guide every year on the oral entrance exams for the various prestigious French institutions.
 Le forum rencontre : organises every year a trade fair between companies, students and professional recruiters.
 Les mongolfiades : the Centrale Lille hot-air balloonists organise an air show bringing together around thirty hot-air balloons sponsored by several companies.
 Lille aux Echecs : organises every year a 3-day festival on the theme of intelligent games, chess and strategy games.
 Centrale Lille Projets : the School's Junior enterprise which proposes to the students projects from the corporate world.
 La nuit Centrale Lille : the School's prestigious gala evening



A Students' Union, a Cultural Association and a Sports Association

The Students' Union (BDE), the Cultural Association (BDA) and the Sports Association (BDS) coordinate together all the students' and sports activities

Sports Activities
Volley-ballBy combining nearby numerous and varied sports facilities, tutoring by a competent teacher, time slots set aside in the weekly timetable and finally a dynamic Sports Association run by volunteer students, the Ecole Centrale de Lille recognises the value that practising a sport can bring to the training of a future engineer.
